  • STEM is a common abbreviation for four closely related areas of study: science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. STEAM is an educational approach incorporating the arts into the more-familiar STEM model, including science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

    New Media Arts Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and a division of Speakin' Out News. Speakin' Out News is the longest-running African American Newspaper in history, published in the city of Huntsville for over 42 years. It has worked with K-12 schools, higher education, and community organizations. New Media Arts Center will deliver on the promise that all kids can have the opportunity to succeed in both STEM and STEAM.
